The Brief

Airline Component Services and Airline Component Services Aviation Industries are sister companies based in Braintree. They service the aviation industry across Europe, supplying replacement parts, service and repairs to the major short-haul and European airlines.

When they came to us they required both of their company’s websites to be looked at for re-development. In addition, they also requested that their branding was given a refresh and update. There was also a need to look into the design and printing of additional and more up to date marketing materials for the company.

It was important that they appeared professional and a well-established company with a friendly, personal service. They were keen that their new sites moved away from the small team look that they felt was portrayed on their existing websites.

The Process

We began with a look over their existing branding. Getting that updated and meeting with their approval would then guide the rest of the project from there.

They wanted the brand for the two companies to look very similar, maintaining a brand theme across the sister businesses. So, we began with the development of that brand theme that would span both the companies, with notable minor differences.

Once the branding look and feel was completed and the client had signed off; the design of the websites and marketing materials could begin. Each website was designed separately as an initial concept for the client to view and provide feedback. After which, the full design concepts for the two sites and the marketing materials could be submitted for review.

The Solution

It was decided that the best option for the client would be that the two websites were built on WordPress platforms. It was important to the client that the sites be accessible and easily editable by their own staff in the future.

Each site was designed to show off the different aspects of the aviation industry which the two companies catered to. One focusing more on the consultancy, sourcing and supply of spare and replacement parts. The other on the repair and maintenance of parts and components.

The project had a tight timeframe and target date. The company had a trade show they were due to be exhibiting at just six weeks after the commencement of the project. The branding for both companies, both websites and all marketing materials had to be designed, built, printed and delivered by the time they attended the event.

Despite the short timeframe the project was delivered on time and to our usual high standards.
